Continuing Education

On October 20, the S. Rose Company and Haworth, Inc. co-sponsored a Continuing Education presentation called "Walking on Air: Building the Foundation for High Performance Workspace." Attendees explored underfloor air as a viable solution toward reducing overall costs and providing improved indoor air quality and comfort for office occupants. This lecture proposed that sustainable construction, along with an integrated design approach, can meet these challenges competitively.

This Continuing Education presentation is the first in a series of three that S. Rose and Haworth are bringing to the greater Cleveland community. The next CEU in the series will be "Modular Interiors and the Environment" and will be hosted in mid-January. The third CEU presentation will be "Not Just Bricks and Mortar" and is scheduled for mid-March. We hope to see you there!

Showroom Renovation

One of the primary goals of the S.Rose renovation is to inform and educate the Greater Cleveland marketplace that taking an intelligent "Green" approach to their interiors is not only the environmentally "right" thing to do but is also the intelligent business model to pursue. As part of our education process, we are creating an advisory board of experts in sustainability who are leaders in Architecture, Interior Design, Real Estate Development and Construction. This highly motivated team will have the capability to meet with interested clients and demonstrate that a sustainable strategy, properly implemented, can be "first dollar acceptable" and "downstream impactful". Our renovated showroom will showcase many of the products that can be used in this Green approach including, access flooring, moveable walls, and lighting and acoustical solutions. These same "Green" products will be incorporated throughout our new "workspace solution center" showroom so that effective demonstrations can be taught, highlighting both the theory behind the products and their practical application. Please stop in and see our new showroom this December!
